I'm surprised Stone wasn't on waivers today for the Flames. I guess they're starting the season with something like

Hanifin - Andersson
Kylington - Tanev
Valimaki - Zadorov
Stone - Badbranson

With Mackey not needing waivers and only having an ok camp, no brainer. Seems like a short term option maybe until Pitlick or Richardson are healthy. Hopefully

Remember CP breaking because Sven got traded? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Guess that cements Rittich as the backup for NSH. I thought that Ingram really had a shot at taking his spot.

Oilers probably claim Barre-Boulet.

Actually, a better option than Yamamoto, for what they bring to the table.

I'm actually kind of surprised about Turris. They've been playing him with Nuge and Hyman haven't they? I thought he was going to be in their top 6, not banished from the realm altogether.

Maybe one game? He's mostly played with other guys competing for bottom six spots.

He's played better than expected. I think he will be on the roster despite being waived.

There is some chatter that if Broberg isn't on the opening day roster then his total bonus will count against the cap if he is recalled versus it being cumulatively applied if he is on the roster on day one.

They are maximizing LTIR space.

I would pick up Barre-Boulet

The bottom 6 scoring is a big challenge for this group. Honestly I don’t see it any better than last year.

Good trade and even better pick.

Thanks to Sven for asking for a trade.

Lots of Oiler-esque overrating of Andersson going on here.

He’s better than Baertschi by like a hair, but honestly not by that much. The legends of his top 4 potential are grossly exaggerated.

Hah. Let me know when he’s waived. Andersson is 5 years younger and has played less than a full season’s worth of games less games.

Leivo playing with Monahan and Gaudreau last season to being on waivers. Amazing.
