Sutter had him on the PK last year as well. He looked good on this one, for sure.
He is suited for PK. His defence is decent in his own zone when he doesn’t have to skate fast and he has a good stick. It’s transition where his defence isn’t as strong.

24 minutes on the PK last year. Least out of every center so probably when Ryan was hurt or one was in the box
He can win draws but his defense is god awful

It was concentrated at the end of the year before he was yanked. He was a regular when Sutter decided to do it.

I'll say this, the special teams have looked good tonight.
It makes sense. Sutter hockey is low event.
Don't get beat 5 on 5, but maybe score a goal or two if you feel so inclined.
Rock solid PK with a good goalie.
Use the PP to score your goals and get a lead.
Rinse. Repeat.

Power play has looked pretty good despite never really having the full PP1 in any game so far. Hopefully that's a good sign.

No chance in my opinion. Tkachuk still way too immature to be captain. Is comments on his brothers contract situation showed that. His blind between the leg passes in defensive zone shows that as well.

Ehlers has a very unlikeable face and personality on the ice.
Jumping into the boards to celebrate preseason goals last game? Diving poke into Markstrom? OK buddy. Enjoy getting punched in the face by 3 Flames as a result. Markstrom gave him some stickwork too.
