He was awesome last night against Tampa although it's definitely a matchup that suits for Benny, five fights and several other scrums and Sam in the middle of it all lol. These teams really hate each other after last years playoff series.

If he did that while on the Flames last season, there would probably be a players meeting after asking him to tone it down.

I honestly did not even notice his absence from camp until this thread was revived. This year's training camp sans Bennett has not been much different than Flames camps where he was in attendance.

especially in a preseason game
some people love everything he does though like making the worst hit of the playoffs and costing his team by being suspended

People like Bennett because he plays big and wild. And, you know, he's a good player. If he wasn't, his suspension wouldn't have cost his team. Sure, you'd like him on the ice more than off it, but that's the trade off.

People around here cry about dirty hits all the time...if Gudbranson makes the same play tonight on Helly everyone is talking about how stupid he is.
I never said he wasn't a good player FYI, just that there are quite a few posters who have rose colored glasses for him
The hit on Coleman in the playoffs was worse than anything Tom Wilson did last season, he is also a good player yet not so much love.
