It's funny because it's preseason, where the games don't matter and you try things, and they just invested 6M in a guy that was hyped to be McDavid's guy so that they don't need to stack the top line like they have for years.
And they stack it again going into the third just to try to keep the pre-season hype train going, because they care that much about pre-season results.
