How has Kostinem not managed to improve his glove hand after all this time? Does he not know? Do the Oilers not know? Or is it that they do know, but addressing it would mean admitting to their fans one of their players isn't perfect...
I mean, come on. Imagine being a plumber who can do everything a plumber needs to do, except you're really bad at screwing pipes together. Years and years of costing your company clients and lawsuits from countless floods you've caused.... and yet at no time have you ever stopped to, I dunno, figure out how to not suck at screwing pipes together...

Flames didn't look great at the start but kept most chances to the side of the net and Markstrom looked solid.
Standouts:
-Dube was skating really well and left a few Oilers D with their heads spinning
-Duehr continues to have an impact when he's out there. Say what you will about focusing size, but when you skate like he does it's a lot to handle
-Kylington struggles a bit trying to handle guys like Kassian down low but he knows what he has to do by skating the puck out of trouble and moving it up ice
-Monahan had one great shift and he looks pretty mobile
-Hanifin looked rusty at the start but better as it went
Oilers:
-Ceci and Keith looking pretty sloppy
-Hyman was really effective, he wins puck battles and makes plays
-coaches challenges in the preseason are so lame

The guy looks like he takes a lot of pride in his appearance, so it was probably a non-negotiable contract demand for him to do the gig.
