Ray gives up 4 homeruns and 5 runs, gets pulled in the Jays most important game of the season. Fans give him a standing O as he leaves despite it looking like Jays are going to miss the playoffs.
Montgomery has a rough outing today in an important game for the Yankees, gets pulled and the fans boo him off the field despite them still being in a playoff spot and still likely to make it in.
Yankee fans are garbage and don't deserve anything good. It's a real shame so many good things happen for them all the time.

It's only the 3rd inning, so I am not counting any chickens yet, however, if this holds up, the chance of a 4-way tie is still in place.
Another Yankee loss (50%)
Boston goes 1 and 1 (50% - not factoring QoC)
Jays win 2 (25%)
Mariners win 2 (25%)
1.56% chance (using random outcomes)

Yeah, so this is the Rays taking it easy as a result of being home and cooled.
Hopefully the bullpen doesn't screw this up.

Especially because Montgomery has been pretty solid for them this year. His fWAR is 3.7, which is in the top 30 for pitching this year.
Yankees fans are so spoiled

I like this. More work on the Tampa arms too. Screw them both. But for now I’m more on Tampa’s side.

Yankees fans truly are the worst. They're the most entitled spoiled brats in professional sports. I really got into Jomboy media this year so have been inundated with more Yankee culture than I have ever experienced before. It's wild how fast they turn on their team and like actually hate some of their players. Not dislike(Like Jays fans and Grichuk) but hate. Some of the vitriol being spewed this year towards Gleyber Torres and Gio Urshela is disgusting. And this coming from a fan base that hasn't experienced a losing season in 30 years.

The Ray's have like 3 guys with 120 innings pitched. This is how they play most games with 2-3 guys to get them thru the first 6 innings. You'd rather they let the Yankees hit 3 home runs of Baz when they get a second or third look at him?

lol
I dunno, what do Baz' numbers look like the 3rd time through a batting order, and how hard have the Yankees hit him this season?
I guess since he's just been called up there really isn't a proven track record for them to make an informed decision on that matter right?

Yeah it was a long time ago, but summer Saturday night home Expo games on CBC with him doing color and Dave Van Horne on the call, are childhood memories.
That, and the very obscurely programmed "German Professional Soccer" showing on PBS of all stations, at the same time Saturday nights in the spring.
