Just some observations about Duehr.
He anticipates the play pretty well for a guy new to the pros. Pretty solid defensive awareness, and can follow the puck's path into a place where he can make a play. His shot isn't terribly hard, but it is accurate and sneaky. Add to that a big frame, and some adequate NHL speed, he could be a 4th liner mainstay as soon as this year.
I will continue to keep a close eye...

If they play with this kind of urgency on a regular basis they will be competitive.
Keeping in mind this is a weaker nucks line up, but they are working hard and look quick for the most part.
I also like that between the coach, and a handful of players that were brought in, they are not going to be pushed around anymore either. If somebody slashes Gaudreau while he's dangling, hopefully somebody breaks their stupid face in.

The speed at which they can execute plays is legitimately top-tier.
