Wow, that power play looked deadly even before it turned into a makeshift 5 on 3. And that's with Brad freaking Richardson out there who very clearly should not be.

I assume Darryl doesn't want to mess up the regular season second PP unit by moving someone up tonight, so they just put Richardson in Monahan's (?) spot.

Huh. That was actually pretty smart. You'd think putting yourself offside like that kills more time and disrupts a PP's flow more than just dumping it behind the net.

The team looks fine. Duehr, Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Kylington, Zadorov, Mangiapane and Dube have all looked pretty good. Even Gudbranson has not been nauseating.
*EDIT* oh, I also think Emelio Petterssen has had a few good looks with the puck as well. You can definitely see the skill there.

I thought Markstrom and Wolf were going to split the game? Why is Markstrom still in there?
And I'll say this also...Gudbranson doesn't look absolutely terrible tonight. Much more engaged and skating decently. Glad to see it, only because I don't want to see the team waste $2 million.

I'd throw Ritchie in there too when he plays. The players in the league take notice any time some one get knocked out I imagine.
