You think it would have been a good call to take Cy Young candidate Ray out after sitting down 12 straight and put in someone like Richards or Pearson? Maybe Mayza (who just blew a save)? I just don't see it as reasonable at the time. After the back to back home runs, yes, but never before that.

Thinking back to the situation I am now rethinking it. Going into the inning you have to stay with him but the real mistake is not having someone warmed up to come in. I'm not an expert but could this been an issue? How long does it take a pitcher to warm up who may or may not go multiple innings? I just can't see why you would not switch him after the back to back home runs and the average the third time through the lineup.

Sportsnet had the score 1-0 for the Orioles to start the game. Is it a sign?

No I'm not. I'm basing mt decision on the data not the results.
I'm not saying the Jays should have yanked because he got hit hard, im saying they should have yanked him because the Yankees crushed his ass this year and because he is terrible third time through the order. Those were facts that were KNOWN AHEAD OF TIME.

The O's catcher wants a review of everything tonight. He was safe by a mile buddy, put your hand down.

Yeah the Yankees aren't letting 6-7-8-9 string a bunch of hits together.
