That wasn't the worst pitch ever.
 Stanton can hit.

I was looking at this as a best of 3 anyways, win 2 and advance to the Orioles. Lose 2 and season over.
So, basically do or die tomorrow for the season.

Might not be quite that dramatic but I think it’s essentially that.

			Another amazing bullpen performance
But also , why does Montoya refuse to let a reliever go more then their inning ? I guess we were going to use 5 guys today and ensure if we have 3 close games we have no one left

God I hate Montoya even if this isn’t completely terrible managing today

Hard to pin that homer on Montoyo

The lowest pitch Stanton has ever hit for a HR, was tonight.
Rizzo hits one almost off the dirt for the game changing play.

 I mean........if it wasn't the Jays I'd be laughing.

Blaming Montoyo makes no sense. He’s managed a great game I think. Stanton just got the better of that matchup against Richards and the Jays made a few too many mistakes both in OF throwing and base running that hurt.
Not great performance from the middle of their lineup is making this awfully tough

At least Merryweather looks good again....
Just out of curiosity, does anyone here have a sports team that doesn't ruin their lives?

How about the bullpen that was horrid for long stretches? Or other stretches when the bats went ice cold?

Ryu could have been better, no doubt, but there other factors at play.

I disagree respectfully, personally. Again, giving Ryu the rock with one out and man on first and second, given how cold he's been recently isn't good. I'd say bring in Cimber and treat it like a closing situation. You just can't trust Ryu to get two outs with no runs in that situation. I didn't like it one bit.

I thought we had no chance of making the playoffs a month ago. We’re right in there. This is exciting. Enjoy it Jays fans. We still have shot. Win or lose I’m loving these games.

What's also been annoying me is the crowd ahhing at every shallow fly ball until it's caught. It was never going out, enough of the false hope!

And I also don’t understand his plan to use all our bullpen in game 1. Why did Cimber not come back out after 6 pitches. Why not keep rolling with Pearson

Who is he going to use for the next 2 games …
