Having to win the last two games against the twinkies to end up 4-3 against them was not ideal, but the Jays are still alive.

One way or another they will be one game back of WC2 and two games back of WC1 after today's play is done.

Bring on the Yanks, it's go time

Mariners are irrelevant - if they catch us, we won't have caught BOS or NYY anyway, so it wouldn't matter

Boston down again... feels vaguely conspiracy-ish.

Yeah...if there was EVER 2 teams in any sport, any where, that would do nothing ever to help the other have any sort of success of any kind....its the Yankees and Red Sox.

I don't think he was insinuating that they were helping each other out...more like the MLB might be massaging things to have a Yanks vs Sox Wildcard...because if there is ever a sport that ride or dies with it's horses it's the MLB

Thays an even bigger and less plausible conspiracy.

Red Sox winning every game lately except the ones against the Yankees.

Of course right? What a ####ing joke.

Once they finish getting swept by the Yanks they can go back to winning out the season. ####ing idiots.

Going to have to sweep the Yankees probably.

Well if Ryu is pitching the first game of the series they can get that out of the way quickly and we don't have to worry about it anymore at least.

Hopefully the Sox now choke this away and lose the next 2 series.

Don't mind a sweep. 2 out of 3 now vs Yanks could still be good enough and have both teams in with Sox outz which I'd prefer.

Just need some help from the LOLs and the Nats(?).

Jays just need to win. Hopefully Springer is rolling and Vladdy is about due to go on a run.

Just need Ryu to get through 1 more start.

Going to need Ryu twice if he's starting tomorrow. That would mean he's in line for game 162 against the Orioles.

I could see the Nats maybe stealing a game or two because of the Soto factor. But the best bet is still catching the Yankees. Win 2 of 3 and sweep the Orioles and I like their chances. It's going to be forking close though.
