Like we are playing a bunch of scrubs. Team looks like it lacks talent and defence hasn't been good. Goaltending was pretty good. Hopefully the defence shapes up cause we have quite a few potential regulars in the lineup on d .

Flames can't pass.
Flames can't shoot.
Flames can't defend.
Flames can occasionally hit.
Refs call everything against the Flames, and nothing against the Coilers.
Flames have put about 20% effort in. Coilers don't look great, but do appear to be playing guys that understand how hockey works. Flames appear to be playing guys that have never had skates on before.

Meh. People always put too much emphasis on the early preseason games, especially in a year where you play 8.
Honestly having more regulars dressed in an early pre-season game might be worse, they are going to care less than young guys.
