Arsenal vs. Tottenham is like watching two ill-fed one-armed men attempt to slap one another.

This has just been an atrocious start overall for Spurs, Arsenal running them over at the moment.

Smith-Rowe one of the few reasons for optimism for Arsenal, looking like a very nice prospect.

I hate to say it, but I can see Kane getting hurt today.

He is over-compensating. His movement is erratic, angry and wild and out of character, thats when players get injured.

He has to calm down.

Spurs already looked dead under Mourinho and Nuno has successfully sucked out the last bit of life they had left. Brutal stuff.

Unless this is some 4D chess to try and get Arteta an extension, this is complete humiliation from Spurs.

Crazy game... arsenal have looked brutal this year, I thought they were very lucky to steal a goal here and there and get the two wins they do have and now just destroying spurs.

I feel like Kane's little snit at the start of the year changed the whole mood around the club. One of your leaders saying he doesn't want to be there just seemed to kill morale because the talent they have is pretty big to be getting pumped by the likes of this year's arsenal.

Dont you dare shame Nuno! He is like Samson, he must simply re-grow 'The Beard!'

Spurs are a complete shambles right now. There is no plan or cohesion. I dont like Kane, but I can at least respect the fact that he's going out there and giving it a good effort.

Its self-defeating, but its better than nothing. Just dont get hurt.

Nuno just feels he will take time to implement his system at a club like Spurs that doesn't already play that defensive structure and counter fast style. You wonder if they will have the patience for him to have some bad results.

And I don't mind seeing him get the occasional banana peel either this season after he screwed palace over the way he did jerking them around for a month plus.

This is the thing though, Spurs just wanted a Coach. They didnt want a 'Manager.'

What is the point of bringing in someone like Nuno if you're not going to let him re-shape the team at all?

Unless the money was outstanding I wouldnt have taken that job. He's a sacrificial lamb. He's just there to steward this group until management comes up with a plan.

To use one of our favourite Calgary Flames terms....this Spurs team is 'Post Apex.'

This is a terrible team that looks good against another terrible team. The silver lining is that Arteta can stick around longer and maybe we can get rid of Nuno pretty soon.

Sure, we won our first three, but none of those were particularly convincing. Then we drop two 3-0 and you think “wow, that’s grim but maybe rock bottom”. They respond by going 3-0 down in half an hour. It’s disgraceful.

Spurs need some central midfielders that aren't afraid to track back when their team loses possession. Just look at how many players were on the wrong side of the ball for two of the three goals in the first half when possession was lost.

Hey there Nostradamus....you think Spurs can hold the Gunners to just 3 at this point?

Yeah he needs to be able to add some stout ball winning midfield players to play his kind of system. dont know Spurs well enough to know who they have that plays that kind of game.

I was watching the second half of the games wolves played earlier this am and they had very little intent to keep the ball but they just gave Southampton no major openings. I know he went for possession there at times but I think that his comfort zone is locking it down and building from that solid defence and trying to play like that with a bunch of players whose strength is on the ball is a tough slog.

That and Kane looking off the pace is a tough spot to be in.

Nobody’s driving anywhere around here. Tried getting gas yesterday and twice today.

We didn’t panic buy.

Now we have all the smugness of having take the higher ground.

But no gas.
