I'd be comfortable with people sitting behind and beside me had their N95 masks on. Not having been sick for a whole year and half even with the common cold is a blessing! I definitely don't miss the cold/flu and the sore throats and aching muscles.

Already got offered tickets to the Rangers game in November. No problem going. With the tickets free, and beer the only cost, it値l be worthwhile.

I'm fully vaccinated, healthy and in good shape, and after the last 4 years living down in the 'burbs, I now live within walking distance of the Dome. You bet your balls I'll be going.

so i feel like the announcement today suggests that about 7,000 folks (~1/3) will get into games in the short term - til the new year?

I believe the 1/3 capacity only applies if they do not implement the "restrictions exemption program" so they should be able to be at 100% with their vaccine requirement.

I’m double vaccinated.
…but my comfort level is definitely taking a huge hit here. I still don’t want to catch this #%^*ing thing, and I’m not so sure I’m cool with going to a hockey game while we’re in a state of emergency.

right, that had not sunk in when i made my comment.
i guess it will be interesting to see where "we" (john and mary q public) are at mentally with respect to going to games.
Based on what i have seen in their thread, it seems that 85% or so are comfortable going

I’m fully vaccinated, in good health and relatively young… of course I’m comfortable going to games. Why wouldn’t I be? I imagine the seasonal flu poses a bigger risk to me at this point… not saying the flu is worse than Covid, but given my vaccination status and lack of co-morbidities, the data would suggest I should not be overly worried at this point. A new variant could change that.

I have no concerns going to games from a standpoint of catching COVID. I'm 31 years old, fully vaccinated, and in good health with no chronic conditions. Getting sick from COVID is really not a concern for me at this point. The Flames have done what they need to do to make people comfortable and I'm not sure there's anything else they could possibly do to make that any better.
Where the concern lies is the other things that could happen to me. Like a car accident on the way to the game. If they are creating emergency ICU beds staffed with surgical nurses and those beds may be in short supply then my chances of surviving a potential injury or accident is much lower. Of course, we take these risks every day. They are calculated risks. But we calculate the risk based on getting care when we need it and that care seems to be strained right now.

I’m comfortable going. Pretty certain nothing will happen if I go. If it does it does it does.
As others have said I’m vaccinated and in good health with no comorbidities.
Guessing if I can’t go watch a hockey game at a half full stadium what can I reasonably do?

So I just found out through an antibody test that I've had covid before. Only reason I took one because it's so damn cheap to do the test in the country I'm in right now.
I had no clue. Guess I'm feeling a lot more comfortable going to the Dome now.

Why do you think it will be half capacity - I'm assuming the Dome will be under the REP.

Thing is, this is an example of why people need to be cautious. You had COVID and were infectious and didn't even know it. If you'd been at a game you could have transmitted to someone.
