Liberals have accomplished very little in their time. Other than ballooning debt that my kids and grandkids will have to pay for.
I don’t think they will just turn on a dime and become ethical this term. If it hasn’t happened by now, it won’t happen. Probably more scandals and lining liberal elites pockets is coming.
Fake ferminist Leader. Groper. Blackface several times.
Kicked out anyone who dare not lie for him.
Don’t know how anyone can vote for that party.
Obviously everyone is entitled to vote for who they want, but are you really going to vote for that crap???
I am voting CPC.

Ordinarily I'd have nothing against the Liberals, but Justin and his cronies are corrupt, fake and incompetent. I'd sooner give Singh a chance than Justin.
At least I'm relatively convinced that Singh would spend our country into oblivion but that money might actually improve the lives of Canadians.
Justin just wants to steal it for himself and his friends. Canada's Eastern Elites really dont need any more time at the trough.

Gonna go with my Rhino candidate again. Was fun voting for them in 2019, and looking forward to doing so again!

The child care plan the Liberals are putting forward aims to drive down child care costs over the next 5 years to $10/day by the end of the five year period. But the stated goal - for BC at least - is to be at 50% of current average costs by the end of next year.
Obviously $10/day would be amazing, but I'd happily take several hundred bucks off per month in the meantime.

They've talked about it in their platform that a Liberal $10.00 a day daycare is 5 years out . . . or less. But they're promoting it like the deal is signed with the province and blammo.
There's no benefit to really enact on this for 5 years if they win an election. We might see some change to childcare costs if they get it, but it remains their biggest wedge issue for a future election. I expect that this is a great platform piece for the Libs to drag their feet on if elected, because they can use it over and over again.
The Cons plan for daycare, I don't think is a great one, but at least it can roll out almost right away.
Again not a big issue for me,

I voted this weekend, and I went Liberal. While I don't particular care for Trudeau, and I think O'Toole is not as bad as I was predicting.
One thing that I can't look pass is how the Conservative party members voted during there convention on certain topics. It is one thing to say certain things during a campaign, but I find that they will tend to move closer to there party once the election is over.
I also am worried about how O'Toole especially recently has been saying that he is going to give more power to the provinces, especially around social topics. Which makes me very warry of what the UCP would attempt with a federal conservative government.

are you willing to explain how you managed to look past the things Trudeau and the Liberals have done that make you vote for him over say the NDP or another party?
I can understand the reasons for not voting conservative, but cannot understand why you decided to vote Liberal.

Its a fair point, but unless you're saying your ok with the Liberals reopening the constitution and redefining provincial versus Federal powers, this isn't something that the Liberals can really change without hideously expensive court battles. O'Toole is actually right here, provincial jurisdiction is just that. Justin has been doing this pretty selectively in terms of Quebec versus the rest of the country.
Personally if a vote for Justin means that he foolishley opens the constitution and the provinces all swarm him with demands that include things like equalization, I say god bless merica and pass the popcorn.

Voted for the NDP - first time ever!
I'm a liberal, but this is the second time they've ran a paper candidate (Calgary - Midnapore) in my riding without even investing $1 in a single sign, candidate photo or web presence.
If you can't even make an effort to look like you care, then why should you get my vote?
Stephanie Kusie's cozying up to Farkas and Shandro is vomit-inducing.

I expect Kusie to win running away. Weird though going through my neighborhood (Willowpark) not more then a couple of candidate signs on private lawns.

Kusie congratulating Health Minister Shandro saying "I don't care what anyone thinks, you're doing a bang up job" in that recently captured video would be enough for me to know she's not fit to be speaking on behalf of normal human beings let alone governing people, and to keep your vote well away. But that's just me.

Wait, you held your nose and voted for this person?
https://pressprogress.ca/anti_aborti...ation_meeting/
She also voted against C-6.
Like, actually logged support for her? You'd have been better not voting. I hope you at least wore a gas mask. Sheesh.

Voted the other day.
Was pretty undecided the whole way through, other than knowing I was definitely not voting for the Liberals after that many major scandals.
Ended up doing it the way you're supposed to, researching my individual MP and picking from that. Which actually made my choice easy, because the only one with a website or a platform was the Conservative candidate. He's the incumbent so I checked out his voting record and he seems to be more PC, so easy choice.
Was definitely willing to go NDP but couldn't find any info on the guy

I'm going to vote for the federal NDP for the first time ever, but like it matters in Lemmingtown. I hope the Cons win a minority so the Libs can boot effing mr.blackface into the effing sun!!!!!!!!!
That plus i doubt The Tool govt would last 18 months.

I voted NDP. I think its good to have a strong 3rd party in particular if we end up with a minority government where they can push the Liberals to positions I prefer and I'm in a riding they can win.

The Liberals aren't going to win that riding. It'll be a Conservative blowout, because people don't care who their MP is(though they should). So it really made zero difference who he voted for, as far as outcomes of th election. In that case, you don't show support for horrible people. I'm a big "you've gotta vote" guy, but at that point, if you really can't find another reason to support any other candidate, don't vote. Don't tell these people you support them.
