Could have been in a playoff spot tonight.

It's one game. They just won a bunch of games in a row against teams they were chasing...on the road.
You can't expect them to win every single game. Even great teams in baseball only win 6 or 7 out of every 10.

Blow Jays, who have been in fourth place in a five-team division all season, lose yet another game, embarrassed 6-3 by the Orioles, a fun team but in last place all season. Overrated Rob Ray beaten again. And if you can't beat the Orioles, you don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

All I'm saying is it figures that they'd win 8 in a row against good teams and then end the streak with their ace on the hill against the 2nd worst team in baseball.
The #### is with people around here?

Looks like the Mariners and A's are going to take care of business against their dumpy bottom feeder opponents tonight.

I would also say the Jays for due for a loss because baseball is a random sport and sustained winning streaks are highly improbable. Time to look forward to a double header tomorrow!

Yep, if Merryweather fields that bunt properly the game stays at 3-3 going into the 8th inning. That's baseball.

This loss really just makes me nervous for tomorrow. 2 gimmicky 7 inning games against a team with nothing to lose. Have to jump out early or it could turn out to be a bad time.
This is the reality of blowing all those games throughout the season. Even when you get hot, the simplest of losses feels huge.
The Yanks and Sox are terrible and will play bad baseball down the stretch. Have to watch out for the West teams though.

Just have to play well enough to grab one of the two spots. Could run the table and finish first in the wild card only to blow it in the one off.
5 teams within 2 games of 2 wildcard spots. Should be a fun stretch.

Oh boy. Can we play the Yankees again??
Spotting a couple runs in a shortened game is a recipe for disaster.

Jays continuing to swing for the fences with RISP instead of trying to just put the bat on the ball

Ryu, doesn't look his dominant self lately. We need to be beating these bottom dwelling teams.

The Jays pitching just cant get any of these hitters out. Every inning last night was a battle and here we go again. I hope the Jays brought their hitting shoes because they need to win these games.
