A 4 game sweep, in Yankees Stadium, to pull virtually even in the wildcard race?

This is incredible and this game is the epitome of what's going right right now. A run in the 7th, 8th, and 2 in the 9th. Adding on runs late. The starting pitching was phenomenal. The bullpen was awesome(making up for lost time). That double play turned in the 8th was exciting and was definitely the play of the game. Just a winning brand of baseball and something that has been missing for most of this season.
 Lets ####ing go!!!

That series was a masterpiece in every way.
Also props to Montoya. Made some solid calls. Gotta give credit where it's due.

Some great Canadian sport stories coming from the state of New York. Next up, Jack Eichel trade from Buffalo, New York to Calgary, Canada

Montoyo has been on fire for a couple of weeks now. Hasn't made any big mistakes in quite a while.

Also helps that the bullpen is actually performing. Hard to be a smart manager when your players suck.

The series against the Orioles will show how mature this team really is. Good teams destroy the bad teams with regularity.

The amazing thing is that the team basically has their destiny in their own hands going forward. There is no reason that they can’t make the playoffs.
Pearson and Merriweather are going to be crucial in my opinion. They could take some of the pressure off of Romano and Cimber.

It'd also be nice if Borucki could fix his control issues. He's back in AAA now, and he can be as good as Mayza if he is able to command his stuff.
It's nice to see the bullpen figuring it out though, for sure. Especially since all the main cogs in it are under control for next year too.

 Romano
 Merryweather
 Mayza
 Cimber
 Richards

That starting rotation is now pretty sexy. A true ace (Ray), a good 1B (Ryu), Berríos who is a number 2 guy and Manoah who looks like a future ace. Matz as a number 5 guy is pretty amazing.

Stripling had been really good too before his injury.

3.29 ERA in his last 13 starts.

And he's under control for next year too.

Kind of blows me away how quickly the Jays front office built a very good and deep rotation.
