I have to say, my hope that Sabalenka would get a bit tired by mid-way through the third if she had to play a few rallies has absolutely not materialized at all. She looks totally fine... maybe even fresher than Leylah. Unfortunately.

Yeah... yeesh. This might be a bit of a mental hurdle. Pretty hard to shrug that off even for her, I'm sure. Just got a bit too amped I guess.

I just tell myself, even if she'd been beaten 6-2 6-2, this would have been a great, amazing tournament. Even if she loses the next 3 games, this will have been an excellent performance against a top-tier opponent playing well. There's no downside, no pressure. She's already done everyone proud no matter what happens.
Just get balls in here. Make her hit the shots under pressure.
