Well if there were no prospects knocking at the door so what? And since Yelesinnis still considered a prospect at least in the CO poll.

I won't pretend to think that Sutter is guaranteed to repeat his success with the Kings again with the Flames. That would be welcome but shocking. However, it is a large assumption to believe that someone as intelligent about the game as Sutter hasn't reconsidered some previously held opinions on personnel or utilization based on the speed of the game, the way it is called, player training, etc. I recall many post-game conferences where he mentioned about there being limited time mid-season to implement all the changes he wanted.

IIRC, the hiring of Sutter by the Kings was widely mocked by the sports media.

Francis compared him to a rash or disease that won't go away. I called him out and got blocked.

Probably struck a nerve. Francis may have a rash that won't go away.

Francis is that incurable rash that continues to annoy Calgary sports fans. He really had it in for Darryl for some reason but at least the Dowbiggin rash went away.

He couldn’t hold a candle to Duha. He struck me as more like Calgary’s Steve Simmons.
Never cared much for DB’s work. That’s all I will say
Oh, actually no. He was like malaria.
Ok, that’s really all I have to say

Dowbiggen spoke to our broadcasting class when I was at MRC. He was very generous with his time and provided a lot of great advice and insight.
But he also admitted that his entire approach was to be a contrarian. If the general public view was one way - he went the other. Because it was the best way to get people to read his stuff
Really nice guy.
Couldn't stand his work

You said the younger players were blocked from playing, we all know who the buys brought in were, but who were the players blocked? The Flames have one of the younger D core groups in the league.

That is just such a cheap and lazy way to go. Any moron can post the contrarian view - if your work has any merit at all, it will stand on its own.
