... Well, she figured it out in a hurry.

Pliskova looks half-asleep out there tonight.

Ok so Sakkari looks completely unplayable at the moment.

She's always like this though. Winning or losing she's calm and fairly emotionless. Doesn't give you a lot of come ons or fist pumps.

Unrelated reason to cheer for Sakkari:

Except when she's hosed by a bad call (against Sakkari as well).

Sakkari lost her first two service points. She then won 22 in a row, followed by two more lost points for a total of four. She then won the game without losing another point, followed by two more holds at love.

This is beyond impressive.

Well, Emma, it was a good run. Have a safe trip home.

If Sakkari plays like this consistently she'll be a fixture in the top 5 in no time. And as I saw someone say earlier this week, if she winds up being the person to carry the WTA at least she has the shoulders for it.

Juts have to hope she hits her first serves well, because Sabalenka is going to put her 2nds right through the back wall.

Berretini is serving bombs and is barely holding serve.

Finally a break point and... ace.

Another break point... here, have your unreturnable ball back, winners against others are not winners against me.

Shang Tsung wins... fatality.

Classic Djokovic, tease the opponent by giving them the opening set and then murder them. Matteo has seen this movie before, he should know it well.

It could very well play out that way - That said, if Berrettini's serve continues to be a weapon, Matteo could pull off the upset.
