Can we please just shoot Thornton into the sun now.
How many chances is this guy going to get?
He's not good. The pop up wasn't his fault, but the walk and giving up hard contact over and over. HE IS NOT GOOD.
To have to use Romano in a game where we were up 7-2 going into the 9th is ####ing brutal.

"They have not had sex..." nice one. Serves them right for too much hokey small talk.

Boom. At least Romano only had to throw 10 pitches so should be available tomorrow/Weds if needed.

Hopefully they won't need him. The bats have to come to life sometime, and it's the Orioles.

Nice signs of the bats coming to life though.
Bo with a key hit in an 0-2 count, and then Teo also with a huge clutch hit with RISP.
Plus Vladdy carpet bombing the OF seats.

And no sex for the Jays either when spinning balls to Mullins according to Tabby.

Looking ahead a couple of days, if the Jays can take care of business against the O's, and the Red Sox lose 2 of the next 3 against the Rays then they'll only be 3 back. All of a sudden that's not terrible anymore. And seems very reasonable. Now, if this season has taught me anything, it's to not get too excited. So fingers crossed.
Also. Suck it Yanks. Losers of 3 in a row. Probably still way to far ahead of the Jays but that streak of theirs was Freaking dumb.

So why can't the Jays ever go on a big win streak? Yankees had a 12 game winning streak, Rays are 8 game win streak, didn't the BoSox have a big one at the start of the year? Time for the Jays to go on one
