Whitecaps doing their best to maintain their winless record vs CPL teams. Pacific up 2-1 at the half. It is nice to see the full house, Pacific have a beautiful stadium camera angles notwithstanding. This game will only build buzz among their fanbase and potential new fans, just like it did for Cavalry in 2019. Thanks Whitecaps!

Would be nice to have the Whitcaps visit Calgary again to get some more hype going, but still cant help but be happy for Pacific shoukd they pull this one off.

Whitecaps have no clue how to play as favourites. Pacific by far the hungrier team. Think there will be more goals in the second half as Pacific’s keeper is a train wreck

This game is a treat!

Gauld and Crepeau are the only thing the Whitecaps have going for them but Gauld’s gonna try and make a game of it

Well I’m disappointed. I don’t care about the Whitecaps, but having them here next would’ve been a better draw for the Cavs and I’m sure they’d benefit from the sellout. Instead it’s Pacific again and that’s just not the same.

Of course it’s amusing that the Whitecaps can’t beat CPL teams, and I do like that continuing. Maybe next year they play Edmonton and get a win under their belt.

Bracket. Also confirmation the game will be at Spruce Meadows. Nigel Reed kept saying September 22 yesterday but that's not confirmed. They have to move a game around as they have matches on the 14th, 18th, 21st and 25th.

Next round is confirmed. Sept 22 at 8 pm vs Pacific. That means the Sept 21 game vs Valour has been moved to Oct 30, which is a Saturday afternoon, so there's that. And the Oct 20 game vs Pacific has been moved to Oct 21. And the Sep 14 game in Edmonton has been moved to Sept 29.
