I think Langkow(not sure if he’s reclamation worthy) and Talbot deserve honourable mentions. Langkow was a very good first line center despite having the reputation of a 1b for the Flames. I think just about anyone who got to play with Iginla got a boost… Conroy/Langkow/Juice/Tanguay/Squid etc.

Langkow was a great acquisition but not reclamation

Reclaimation projects.

Nick Fotiu?

Or Craig Berube?

Or Brian Marchment?

Another one that deserves a mention is Brian McGrattan, in his second stint he had a season in 2013-14 with 76GP, 100PIM… that was after only getting 2 games with Nashville. He also got his life back on track(though I’m not sure if that part was with the Flames) which is a lot bigger than hockey.

I loved watching Alex Tanguay. Smooth hands and I don’t think I have ever seen a better playmaker live before. He was crazy gifted at passing the puck.

Lanny? Exiled to Colorado, and 30 when the Flames rescued him, which was old for a hockey player back then. Had 3 great seasons and started to really decline, but finished it off in style.

Was Kipper a reclamation project? San Jose's third stringer at the time of the trade.

A lot of good names here but the guy I thought of was Adrian Aucoin. He had two solid seasons here after a couple rough years in Chicago.

Interesting how many of these veteran signings came in the Sutter era.

He was PPG in Colorado though...not really a reclamation project IMO

I came in to say Aucoin, but you beat me to it. I would say Huselius is a good one too, as well as Conroy in both incarnations with the Flames. Also, how about McAmmond?

I'm pretty sure the Flames claimed a 34 year old Housley on waivers for his second go-around in Calgary. He then put up 54, 55, and 34 point seasons. He was top 3 in team scoring for the first two of those years.

Although I think they then put him on waivers again and then he was claimed by Chicago.

I thought Brendan Morrison was pretty great.

Kris Versteeg was another one.

He's also the reason I got back into hockey. I got really bummed out when I had to stop playing and didn't follow the NHL for a few years as a result. Seeing how hard he worked not just on the ice but off the ice as well really sucked me back into the sport. And watching him beat the crap out of guys was good fun

I liked Owen Nolan a lot.
Also thought Jeff Friesen was going to be a beast with us but think Nolan helped the team more despite Friesen having a role.
Not sure why former Sharks stick out to me but remember being pumped getting them.
Will likely always remember Dowbiggen on the Fan 960 playing up the Friesen signing during stampede saying its 30 above here in July but here in Calgary it’s Friesen.
