So Warzone is so full of cheaters that it is becoming unplayable. Not that I or my friends are any good, but even in our lower crappy lobbies there are cheaters almost every match.
Many of the top streamers are currently boycotting until something is done about it.
Anyone else been playing and getting fed up? Thinking of making a switch to a new game.. just not sure which one.
I finished Trails from Zero yesterday after putting it down for a long while. Overall, about as good as Trails in the Sky FC I think - maybe a little better.
Spoiler!
I think it has the best soundtrack of the series overall (some of the best battle music in JRPG history). The relationships between the characters are probably better developed than in the Liberl arc overall, which was focused far more on Joshua and Estelle. Incidentally, I'm not sure how I feel about bringing those two in for the final chapter - obviously I used them, but it might have been more compelling if they weren't available for the last boss rush because they had to go and escort the prisoners out, or something along those lines. They feel a bit like they're intruding on a story that they're not a part of. I'm guessing now that they've retrieved Renne they won't play as much of a role in Azure, which I'm fine with.
The story overall, at least last half of it, felt like a total re-hash, with Guenther being Weissman 2.0, as the dialogue repeatedly acknowledged during the ending scenes. Harmless, absent-minded academic type turns out to be manipulative, child-enslaving evil mastermind with a staff? Yeah I've seen this movie before... Hopefully he's really dead and they can do something different with Azure. It just didn't feel like the stakes were anywhere near as high due to the repetitive nature of it.
I've decided I'm going to play the Cold Steel games on the Steam Deck when I get it, so I'll be playing through Azure between now and then I guess.

I don't really mind his wall hacks, as I am a Bloodhound main haha. But the stupid nanobots interrupt, I hate.
Still, this season has been great and the map updates make most maps really fun to play!
I've read too many good things to not play it, so I'll be firing up Disco Elysium tonight. Doesn't hurt that it's 40% off on the PlayStation store right now.
It’s difficult to find dedicated gaming sessions with a 9 month old, but after 2 hours of play, I can say this:
Pros: I like the art style and really enjoy the slower paced, yet super detailed writing. I really love the conversations with the components of my basic self so far.
Con: It’s kinda annoying playing a point and click RPG on my PS4. I would have chosen to play on a computer if that option was available to me (I only have a work PC). It’s sometimes difficult to highlight the thing I want to interact with.
I’m going to continue playing and likely take forever to finish due to the aforementioned baby haha.
Yeah that con is simply inevitable on the PS4. I wonder if there's a way to hook up a mouse and keyboard combo to it somehow. EDIT: Apparently you can and it's not that hard; probably worth doing if you have one handy.
What kind of cop are you focused on? What areas do you have points in? Depending on what you choose it completely changes the game experience. I don't think being high in shivers really helped me actually do very much but it did make the game better.

Does Disco Elysium on PS4 not support Keyboard and mouse?

I don't know if it's cheating but I would save the game right before important conversations and re-do the conversation depending on the outcome. I tried as hard as possible to distance myself from being the drunk, bigoted character that he was prior to you taking control and get my act together but sometimes the options were so hilarious that I had to try them.
I mean, trying to make him into a nice, well-adjusted, competent detective seems like the most boring way possible to play the game.

I looked at it as more trying to reform him while being the best detective I could be. I used the save process just to make sure I wasn't missing some of the good stuff. As a person that battled substance abuse in my youth I identified with him and found him more pathetic than funny at times and enabling that just isn't something that I wanted to do but that's what makes the game so great as you can play it the way you want.
Hell Let Loose has been officially released. And the lead developer was interviewed by Dan Carlin's 'Addendum' podcast.
Although there can certainly be issues with the game even after getting out of beta, it's still quite the impressive game and they'll continue to work on it. Lots of talk of 'Pavlov's House' in the podcast!

I’m basically leaning into the inherent weirdness and randomness of my character and trying to have a strong sense of “hunches” and empathy. I’ve only spent one skill point so far though into empathy, so I’m super early in the game.
I had no idea you could play with a keyboard and mouse on the PS4 so I’ll definitely look into that. It’s not terrible with the controller but it’s a bit wonky some times.
I've been thinking about building a small living room PC just for emulation purposes for awhile now as I'd love to have access to all the games from NES to Switch in one spot, and then I saw this
So you can get that and/or Retroarch on your Series S or X and have a lot of systems covered, but you're still missing things like PS3, WiiU, and Switch, and the RA cores for PS2 and Gamecube/Wii aren't great. Then I thought how awesome it would be if you could somehow get full Windows 10 side-bootable on the Series X. Suddenly you would have the greatest game console ever made and the most powerful desktop PC for the price. It's a shame it'll never happen officially, but I'm holding out hope that eventually it gets cracked somehow so you could sideload full Windows on it
Bummed out to hear cross platform is not available for Madden 22. I need to buy the MVP edition if I want to play against all my buddies who have PS4. Might just have to go with the PS5 version and not get to play against buds
I'm really enjoying Hades on game pass. That's two roguelike games this year after never really playing this genre before. I enjoyed Returnal but I think Hades did it a lot better as the runs aren't nearly as long or exhausting.

Hades is the best roguelike yet made (IMO) so it's downhill from there if you start getting into the genre more.
Into the Breach is incredible too but a whole different genre really (action vs. puzzle/strategy).
