Getting really drunk at my formal in high school. I ended up saying some horrible things to some people that I really cared about and I will forever regret it. I have apologized repeatedly to these people and they have forgiven me, but I still feel so much embarrassment and shame over the whole thing.
Making my mom feel bad for suggesting that my dad might be cheating on her. She was already in a pretty fragile state of mind and I made it that much worse for her, because I didn't want to think my dad was cheating. It turned out she was right.

Ouch, that one would hurt. I know the Sylvan market pretty well and, not really wanting to rub it in, but you were sitting on a goldmine. Still, about 12 years ago I was looking at some pretty run down shacks at Jarvis Bay, Sylvan Lake and wish I could have coughed up enough dough to buy one. The prices there now are just crazy. Hopefully the cabin we did end up buying up north can give us some sort of return in the future.

Drove back to Lethbridge from Calgary at about 3:00 in the morning after a week of crappy sleeping because of jet lag.
Fell asleep and rolled my car about six times in the ditch. After looking at the car the next day I am lucky to be alive as it was pretty much wrecked everywhere except for the drivers area. Plus a had a bunch of stuff in the back that could have easily killed me. Certainly glad that I had a safe vehicle that night.
Made me really examine certain aspects of my life and what was important. Which lead me to my best decision of my life.

F'ed up the first 2 years of university. I almost passed first year, so when I had to re-take a few of the same courses I figured it would be much easier. Although if you don't actually go to class, it is much harder.
I was kicked out of my major, so I had to switch (and subsequently learned my lesson, got a 4 year honours degree in 3, Dean's Hours, Magna Cum Laude) but I still feel I would have fit better in my original descipline.

Short story first:
High School, I had 4 letters of offer from US College Football programs, Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, Syracuse.
I signed with Alabama (of course NO SNOW) plus when I went down there there were just a tonne of hottie Brunettes (Brunettes with no Tats, no Implants and a southern slang - damn).
Well I was already to start taking the US High School tests when bam tore my left knee in a tounament in Texas (Strong Safety (4th linebacker actually who could run fast and was tall) go up for an interception fight with a Tight End and bam some skinny no talent wide reciever cuts my knees mid air and I land with my leg in a V Position).
So here is the worst decision of my life.
Alabama offers me an out, they will pay for all rehab of my knee at a Seattle area knee specialist and fly me out there from Edmonton to do it as well as pay for max 4 years of school plus 3500 US room and board per night if I waive my Scholarship.
I did - worst decision of my life because within about 6 months of rehab in Seattle my knee was prety much back to where it was with the exception of musle defenition. I probably could have played Junior year as I wasnt likely to be a starter as a freshman anyways.
Anyways - worst decision because I would have loved to play college football. Instead I went through a bit of depression, hit some serious lows (main reasoning for no alcohol, nicotine, or caffeine plus others), came back not that bad but still worst decision of my life and I guarantee that whill haunt me for a long time.

So easy. Marriage number one. Knew it was wrong but didn't have the balls to walk away. Ah well, I was 24.

Mine were kind of illegal, so on the off chance that someone here is a cop I think I'll keep the worst ones to myself. Spending $3000 I didn't have on a new TV last year ranks right up there.

I didn't hear you offering to help out. I did my part and got drunk the last few nights, but you can only do so much when you have to be at work at 8 a.m. everyday.
