Nice of the top of the order to come up and kill the rally.
Good job boys. Way to clutch up.
Also, go #### yourself you ####ing ump. Do they have to screw the Jays in every high leverage situation? Is that an unwritten rule somewhere?

Dolis. Ugh. Almost in Thornton territory for being very bad. He walks almost a batter an inning.

Huh. Would you look at that. The bottom of the order trying to drag this team to a win. Score some runs. Only to see the pen give it right back. Just no winning mentality on this team.

I don’t understand why we always trot out the same guys who consistently blow games when it’s close. Dolis has put the nail in our own coffin so many times I don’t understand why he’s even a part of our roster anymore.

IMO, it should have have been Romano instead of Dolis - the only chance of winning the game was shutting them down there. But nope, bring in Dolis and give up 3 more runs

I just can't believe Dolis has a job. He's proven to be a very unreliable, inconsistent arm who just can't get it done on a regular basis. Why is he still pitching with this team?

Because Dolis was good last year.
Just ask Charlie. He'll tell you.

Dolis over his last 15 appearances:
7.15 ERA
11.1 innings
16 hits
11 Walks
2.38 WHIP (!!!!!!!!)
Thorntons over his last 15 appearances:
8.10 ERA
16 innings
22 hits
1.56 WHIP
Thornton is only behind Romano in terms of IP.
Dolis has appeared in 39 games, behind only Romano and Mayza.

Finally get a break on the OOT and it just doesn't matter because the Jays cant get out of their own way.
When the Jays inevitably miss the playoffs this year I hope it's the last we see of Grichuk, Dolis, and most importantly Montoyo.

Sounds like Kevin Smith is getting called up tomorrow.
Doubt he'll be a savior but it'll be nice to get a look at him anyways. Might be a nice piece for the future.
