Just an incredible, dominant performance from the oldest in the field.

Canada has now surpassed their Gold Medal total from the 2016 Summer Olympics!!

Massive achievement in what should be the premier event of the Games.

Thank goodness CBC cut away from the coverage to get us riveting pole vault action, instead of staying with a moment of Canadian history. Such an embarrassment.

You have to remember It's a limited Olympics. CBC is using the international feed for alot of stuff. Not the usual huge CBC team.

Yes. 200M gold, Decathlon gold. These are premier events. Fingers crossed for the 4x100.

Even under normal circumstances wouldn't there just be one international feed? i couldn't imagine 100 of cameras recording for each individual country. I felt the celebration was sufficient. Warner was getting lots of love from the pole vault ladies lol.

Not 100 cameras for each country but CBC always had their own crew. They have a huge budget.

Decathlon gold for a Canadian is something I thought I would never see in my lifetime. Incredible performance by Warner and Lepage seems to have a really bright future in the sport as well.

Dude is still young, 25 and physically huge. He has been competing for what 4 years at Decathlon.

Lots of time for him.

Full respect to Decathletes. No time for self loathing or self analysis. Just move on and compete in a totally different event.
