Sleazy as they may be I would be surprised if a legal publicly traded casino would even take a hockey bet from Kane. I seem to remember when the story broke on Jagf the internet betting site said as soon as he realized it was Jagr betting he disabled hockey betting. Now there are many other ways and places to bet and I am sure an addict can find those.

He's a millionaire (in theory). These guys get almost anything they want through their agents or people surrounding them. If he wanted a bookie, someone in his inner circle could find one. And a bookie would probably be too happy to have him as a client.
Several of Evander Kane's teammates don't want the Sharks winger to return to the team next season, sources tell The Athletic.
The team was trying to trade Kane earlier this summer, a source says, confirming a report from the Daily Faceoff. A big part of the reason for the team to pursue a deal was Kane's strained relationship with many of his teammates, according to several sources.
Too bad. Sharks knew damn well his character when signing that contract, and went ahead and forked over 49 million in guaranteed money. They made their bed and now they can lay in it. To f'ing bad. I hope they don't find a way to weasel out of it.
I know there have been unpopular locker room players in the past (Craig Janney, Ribero, Avery come to mind) but I this guy is quickly moving up the ranks as most unpopular ever. What team would add him to their locker room now with the gambling cloud over his head and the fact he's just not a good teammate?
Last year, amid bankruptcy distraction, he stayed out of the news. No publicized incidents. He kept his head down, and was the top producer on the team when everyone else regressed, top PP, top PK, a tonne of ice time.
Burns struggled. Karlsson got injured and pouted. Hertl and Meier got worse. Kane was the most consistent part of their team. Everything on the ice shows he was an ideal teammate. He's a good player when he wants to be.

It would be tough to beat Avery in the least popular teammate of all time race.
