I don’t get the A and B final. Langlois in the B, did she even have a chance at a medal?

Langlois was in the A Final and had a shot, Michelle Russell was in the B Final. B Final is just for finishing positioning. I put the wrong times earlier and had them for the B Final times. So the A Final of the Men’s C2 with Varga and Fitzpatrick is coming up next

What a race in the canoeing.
Cuba comes from behind to take gold over the favoured Chinese duo.

Great race, too bad the Canadians weren’t really in it, but incredibly entertaining still!

Man, am I the only one who thinks the American athletes are just self absorbed and sore losers?
So many random examples over the past days where they don't really acknowledge other athletes. Especially in the women's sports, all the other women would be cheering and hugging but I don't see the same with the Americans. It's like they expect everyone else to come to them.

It might just be me though.

Yeah. Brutal conditions, obviously.
But I thought De Grasse just eased through the race, trying to conserve energy/stress on body. He still qualified easily. Maybe I'm just hoping that is the case.

The world record for the 400m is just over 43 seconds. He’s less than 3 seconds off.

Only 3 other people in history have broken 47 seconds, he just broke 46.

He clearly wasn’t going full out for at least the last 50 metres.

With a 200m time of 1:58 recorded in the heats, all of us can now claim to be faster than an Olympic sprinter.
