Yeah what Damage said.

I think that's the reason Zadorov hasn't been inked yet actually. For this.

Eichel looks like he's really digging the Flames jersey and cowboy hat the other guy is wearing.

Trading for Eichel would also make extending Johnny less difficult wouldn't it?
Maybe Tkachuk too
Eichel
Lindholm
Gaudreau
Tkachuk
What a stud top 4 forwards that would be.
This assuming Mony is the one going out to make room.
Come on Tre, get it done man. My Fandom needs this badly.

I would hope Gaudreau would be excited by that, but he could have an absolute career year playing beside Eichel.

I don’t know how to make the Salary work, but having a lineup of
Gaudreau - Eichel - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Monahan - Coleman
Mangiapane - Backlund - Dube
Lewis - Kid - Ritchie

But Buffalo does not want any cap or as little as possible in the trade.
The answer to that is, the Flames can make follow up trades to fix the problem. And right now it's not an issue because they can go 10 percent over the cap and they'll have 8 weeks to work it out.
Get eichel first, follow up with the cap clearing trades.
|
We are listening. Honest. We sending cap anyway.

What's not to believe? They have no cap space and two roster spots to fill.

They’ll find some ######bag Vegas way to swoop in and do it without giving up anything of value.
Because life is unfair.

I don't think you can, to make salary work you need to move one of Monahan or Tkachuk to make it work. Plus what would we give to Buffalo if keeping all those
Forwards?
It would be awesome, but can't see it.

Sell all of the futures. No I agree. Just I’d there was a way to keep Monahan to be able to use Lindholm again as the top RW without losing Tkachuk as well would be the dream. I think that’s what Tre is trying to pull off right now.

Vegas has success because they recognize the importance of going all in.

Vegas has success because a bunch of GMs panicked before the expansion draft, and McPhee played them like fiddles. ‘Going all in’ had very little to do with it.

And their first year was the year they had their greatest success. Since then all they've done is piddle away assets trying to repeat it.
