I would be looking at Tomas Tatar to bring in for some skill up front.

I thought that Saad would have been one of the premium targets for today.

You can't wrong when you can spread scoring talent over 3 lines. Depth is how you beat the Edmontons and Canucks, who are exceptionally weak after their top two lines.

Kuemper is certainly possible for the Avs to make a run at. Would require a 1st round pick+. And they need a number 1, albeit one that comes with injury risk. But he's not too expensive for AAV cap.

Likely too expensive for Calgary to have as a #2 rental.

he Kraken, meanwhile, have a surplus of goalies. They selected Chris Driedger, Vitek Vanecek and Joey Daccord in the expansion draft. Driedger was poised to be the top goalie in Seattle next season, and agreed to a three-year, $10.5 million contract with the Kraken.

Seattle now may to try to leverage its position of strength, and trade one of the younger goalies. Sources say the Washington Capitals reacquiring Vanecek, 25, is not out of the question.

Nilsson is Swedish, tandemed with Marky in Vancouver, coming off an injury so could be cheap, is super big (muscular) - makes Marky look like Wolf.

Wouldn't be bad for sitting on the bench.

As per Avalanche journalists', Coyotes asked for 1st round 2019 pick Alex Newhook in part of a deal for Kuemper and were turned down.

Connor Timmins is a name that has been rumored to be offered.
