Don’t think Philly would have the assets to acquire Gaudreau at this point because they’ve used them up in other trades.

Maybe they were in on stuff and it didn't work out. It happens.

They didn't need to clear cap to get Johnny, considering I doubt very much the Flames would make anything but a hockey trade for him this early.

I think a lot of teams prepared to make Offers to Landeskog at around 8~. His heart was already in Colorado.

I totally get the sense that he's up to something too.

Elliotte Friedman recently said that when it is completely quiet around a player, it might just mean that something is about to get done around that player.

I wouldn't rule out the idea of an Eichel trade despite Bob McKenzie's assertion that its very quiet around Eichel.

I feel like if the Flames get Eichel it will be a 3 team trade at minimum so it will be crazy complicated. I am really putting a lot of faith into this and feel our board is willing this into reality.
