Ducks and Flames for Eichel. Do it, Brad.

Looks like this takes them out on Eichel. I was wondering if the Eichel trade was the holdup on Danault signing. Looked like most teams rumoured to be interested in him, were also in on Eichel.
Kings rebuild is over too I guess. 6 x 5.5 isn't too bad TBH for day 1 on free agency. Probably slots in the second line while the youth develop.

Not with $200k in cap space left, they’re not. They were quick to use those Fleury bucks on Martinez and Dadonov.

Pretty much guarantees Eichel is going to Vegas I would think.

$200,000 of cap space with two roster positions yet to fill. I am sceptical they can pull off a deal for Eichel.

I know Sabres don't want cap coming in, but they won't say no to Tuch. They can still work something out to free cap. Vegas likes to wheel and deal. Pacioretty was on the block just last year.

They traded for Dadonov and have $200k in cap space - so would require $10M going back to Buffalo which is unlikely.

I'd argue this puts them more in the hunt for Eichel. Now they can probably add a guy like Turcotte to a package. They are set down the middle for when Byfield is ready. Kopitar-Byfield-Danault. Turcotte is for sure the odd man out now.
Bring in Eichel, and let Byfield develop.
