So just sifting through the other threads it seems like Minnesota and Vegas are no longer landing spots for Eichel.
Does that just leave Anaheim and Calgary?

Goalies are going fast. Looking more and more like the Flames look at Ullmark.

No to Brock McGinn unless this is a cheap, depth signing.

Last two. He's got 4 years of good service left IMO.

at this point, I'm convinced stars don't want to come here and the hands of our management are tied to these kind of deals.

But if Ullmark signs behind Markstrom he needs to fire his agent

Not much room left out there if he wants an NHL gig of any kind. Toronto just signed a goalie too no? Mrazek?

He might just re-sign in Buffalo.

Stars don't usually make it to UFA status, and when they do the prices get crazy, and the number of teams is usually pretty limited. Calgary has done well in free agency in getting some of the larger names. The problem is they underperform.

I'd like Ullmark at backup goalie, and I'd also like a safeguard defenceman. If we could get Edler for cheap in a few days, that would be great.

I would love it if he has four years of top 6 service in him but I have a hard time believing he's going to be a top 6 player at 33 years old. I would be happy if he's 3rd line at that stage.

2 big in what way. The $ are good for a top 6 guy…. The years who cares really as by year 5 the cap likely has gone up quite a bit … there’s many options years down the road
