Man, I feel your pain. I sometimes get it from time to time, but only for like a minute tops.

BUT....

A couple weeks ago, while playing an FPS no less, I kid you not, I had a twitching eyelid for 4 FREAKIN HOURS!!! I usualy find it kinda amusing and kinda neat to watch but that night night I was ready to shoot myself. You can only take so much.

The one thing I've found is the moment I try and see what it looks like in a mirror, it will stop suddenly.

So I have no idea if it is barely noticeable, or makes me look ultra freaky.

Oh no, it's noticable. And indeed freaky. Can make a person look kinda nuts if it goes on for to long.

I've had the twitchy eye sydrome on and off for the past two months - but it was nearly every day for about three weeks straight. Apparently it can be stress and fatigue related. Mid-afternoon always seemed to be a prime time. That and at Flames games for some reason....

I had it for 3 days once. I wanted to off myself. After writing a couple big tests I had that week and finally getting a good sleep it went away.

I used to get that all the time at work when I was stressed or amped up (like on those days when the demand for me to fix someones desktop just never ended.)

Ain't nothing I can offer to fix it, other than relaxation.

Just to be safe, you should punch that eye to "teach" it a lesson.

Twice I've worked outside the office and had to use a PC with a really crappy monitor. The refrsh rate was something like 60hz, I got a headache and my right eye started twitching (it wouldn't stop unti I slept that night).

I get a twichting eyelid. Ususally when I have lack of sleep, exercise and Im stressed.

I heard it was tension that could do it. I sometimes get it for a couple of seconds speaking to people and wonder if it's thrashing around like a bronco and they can tell. Which is stupid I know. But at the time it feels so prominent you're like "how can they not see this"

I remember that happened to me in grade 12 while writing Diploma Exams. Once I was in the middle of the Social 30 exam and it started twitching while I was writing my essay. Was hard to concentrate...but at least it went away. Imagine if an eyelid twitched forever? OMG.

Am I the only one that loves when my hand, foot, leg, arm etc. 'fall asleep'? Coolest feeling ever. I get giggly.

An old Chinese superstition has it that if it's your left eye twitching, you'll have some sort of luck when it comes to money in the near future; the right eye on the other hand indicated some sort of accident will happen to you or your loved ones soon.

So if it's the left eye buy a $2 scratch ticket, if it's the right eye be more careful for the next couple days.

Too much Nicotine
Too much Caffeine
Too much Stress
Not enough Sleep


Also... your eyes could be straining through any current prescription.
