Not saying that. Just didn't like his denial that he didn't know about the abuse allegations at all until the law suits.

You tell me if you believe that story.

Anyways this thread is heading to derailment... finish the trade already.

I read this at least twice today. It may not have been you but it wasn't clever the first time.

But also, it's not as clever saying.

I have no opinion about that. I just don't see how he's a guilty party.

And I am not saying he is guilty, but if his denial of knowledge is BS then he is helping to cover it up.

Again, ALLEGED, and I said, IF TRUE.

If true, that’s BS and worse than anything the Astros or Black sox did as far as I’m concerned.

Panthers also refused to comment. Until the trade call goes through that is the standard procedure for teams.

But being a #### oganization shouldn't punish players that had no idea what the #### was going on.

Imagine if you will, you are on a team. A player has an inappropriate exchange with a coach. There are rumors but nothing confirmed.

You laugh it off as hearsay and some people allegedly make fun.

You win the cup.

Then 10 years later it turns out those rumors are true and they strip you of the only cup you will ever win.

Not fair to the players that honestly didn't know. Also there is no precedence for revoking as championship because of this.

Imagine taking away the Swift current Broncos WHL championships from this players that dealt with graham James.... #### that would be devastating.

On what planet is that the narrative being discussed?

The issue is owning, accepting, and repairing the damage resulting from his negligence in the matter.

He hasn’t even come close to doing this. He obviously trying to hide and distance himself from someone who he was responsible for and obfuscate his role in the matter.

On this planet, where a poster said Quenneville should be fired from his current job.

You assume he was negligent. Where's your proof?

What was his role in the matter? How was he responsible for actions that his subordinate obviously concealed from everyone he could? What exactly is he obfuscating?

You're simply assuming everyone in the Blackhawks organization was guilty because one person was guilty. Shame on you.

Well this is sort of bizarre to see Buffalo completely cleaning house like this. I ran across this article from just a few weeks ago saying the Sabres should rebuild around Reinhart because he's such a good two-way player (and he's only 24 for crying out loud).

Obligatory J Fresh analysis:

Honestly, this is the kind of ballsy move the Panthers have been missing for some time. He's instantly a top line winger with Barkov and Verhaeghe. The return isn't astronomical for a good 1st line player like Reinhart, just so long as it's only the 1st round pick and Levi (I don't like the rumour of the extra pick being thrown in). We know it's Knight in net long term, so Levi was a bonus trade chip that the team acquired in the 7th round due to the urging of Roberto Luongo (good thing he contributed since he's still costing the team a recapture penalty due to retirement for another year).

Pretty great to see the Panthers finally have some solid management and leadership for the organization. I've become a big Zito fan overnight.

Verhaeghe-Barkov-Reinhart
Huberdeau-Bennett-Hornqvist
Duclair-Acciari/UFA-Vatrano
Marchment-Lammikko/Heponiemi/Wallmark-Tippett

Weegar-Ekblad
Forsling-Stralman
Nutivaara-Gudas

Bobrovsky/Knight

That should be a division winning roster right there.

Nice looking roster no doubt and with Coach Q giving the direction; what a turnaround by the panthers the last two years.

It was him, Ristolainen, and Eichel that basically all said they didn’t want to be in Buffalo anymore and sort of indirectly requested trades - two down, one to go.

It is not weird at all to see Buffalo cleaning house. It makes sense, anybody getting 1sts for next year is smart IMO.

It's pretty impressive to have a positive WAR on a team that lost 18 straight games LOL

Man buffalo is mess. Going scorched earth again. 9 consecutive years drafting top 10, and pretty much guaranteed to make it 10.
