Alexander Kisakov screams like a Flames pick. That said, if Chayka is available I think he will be the target.

So true, but remember! We have a full training camp and summer with Savior Darryl as coach! We also lost our best role model!
So many things are going to be so good this year

My targets for round 2-3 for tomorrow would be in order:
Round 2:
Pinelli (I'd trade a third rounder to move up to select him)
Heimosalmi
Peart
Robertsson
Round 3:
Kidney
Iorio
Gaudreau
Kapanen
After that it's a crapshoot. Im happy with the pick today even if I would have gone in another direction personally. I hope we land one of my targets tomorrow.

Are you thrilled with the idea of Coleman and Pitlick as the team’s big offseason changes?

Day 2 of the draft is usually a pretty busy one trade-wise, and free agency is still ahead of us.
If after July 28th, we're still where we are then it's probably a bit more fair to criticize. Right now? The "hectic" time of the off-season just really kicked off.

I'm not going to over-react to what's happened or not happened at this stage. I'll be disappointed if they don't make some major changes, but I'm not going to get so worked up that I try to constantly drag people into my misery.
But you do you.
I had a fun night. Many people did.

The draft is typically the official start of the season. We are 4 hours as of right now into the 2021-22 season. So far so good in my books.

The thing is we all want the roster changes. There were 5 decent sized trades tonight and nothing yet from the Flames but a pick for a bottom line player.
Lots of time but I understand then impatience. We want roster change

Sure but the owners sell their product outside of Quebec and I'm guessing there is going to be a lot of pressure coming Molsons' way from outside the province.

Some other guy who played for them last year moved on in the expansion draft as I recall.
Probably will have an impact.
At this point the team doesn’t feel better. Sure as heck will not be the same next year though.

Molson Coors is the third largest brewing company in the world. If all the hockey fans in Canada boycotted their product, they might have to put off buying those solid gold taps for the executive washroom. Might.

Brent Johnson might be the best of the rest for D as well.

Don't disagree but I don't think this story will only be seen by hockey fans. Just my guess. This has PR disaster written all over it, IMO.

They did exactly what they needed to today, and that was interesting I think.
Buffalo is buttering themselves up for a fire sale tomorrow morning by the looks of it. If things don't get interesting on the trade front by the end of round 7, then people have my permission to jump off the ledge.

For the Canadiens? Sure. For Molson Coors? Not even a blip. Andrew Molson has a seat on the board, but none of the Molson family are in senior management. Going after the brewery would just be barking up the wrong tree.
‘Andrew, we're going to have to leave you off our slate when the board comes up for re-election.’
‘But why?’
‘One of your brother's companies hired an arsehole.’

I'm not sure that's how social media works. I could be wrong but doesn't Molsons (the company) own the Canadiens?
But I guess we'll see.
