For a second? Seems cheap. CBJ, making the moves (Could have been Seattles 2nd if they were smarter).

I'd like Bean too but we don't need another young unproven LHD right now. We already have Valimaki, Kylington and Mackey.
The Flames need a proven top 4 LHD to replace Gio.

Sounds like it has the 2nd rounder Columbus just got, so it was higher than Calgary's if Calgary was interested.

			Jake Bean. Calgary native.
 Son of Flames CEO.
 Calgary Hitmen player.
Actually excellent trending stats per Bader.

2nd round pick is too much? But a 4th for Pitlick is alright? Right after we lose Gio.

My mind is blown. Seriously Treliving. what the #### are you actually doing? ####ing idiot.

Columbus and Arizona sure seem to like to wheel and deal.
I like this trade for Columbus, but there's still some risk.

We already have Hanifin, Valimaki, Mackey, and Kylington as LHS defensemen and we're probably gonna sign a veteran to replace Gio

I don't see any room for Bean

Plus his dad is the President and CEO of CSEC, if he doesn't get playing time that may be awkward

Obligatory Valimaki and Kylington played RD their whole lives.

Would have liked him here for that price, from limited viewings he looked NHL ready but buried behind the defence factory in Carolina.

I would have acquired Bean and then used Valimaki in a deal. Bean is a better fit for what we need.
I don't know what Treliving has up his sleeve (if he even has anything at all), but hopefully it's a significant change to this roster.

Exactly this. He’s actually a good player. Far better than Kylington/Mackey.

Only pointing out his Calgary roots because it would actually be a player that would WANT to be in Calgary long term.
