If it's true, it's worse than it looks. All three Canuck players are in the last year of those contracts. Meanwhile, OEL has 6 years left and they still have three years left on Myers too.

Good deal for both sides.
AZ is looking good for the long run with OEL off of the books now. They are clearly tanking for the next two drafts. Good on them, AZ needs a Wright/Bedard.
Basically get back a pick slightly higher than their forfeited pick. You can thank Chayka for making them have to trade Garland and rebuild.
