Weren't there a bunch of leaks prior to the expansion draft ion 17? Felt like we knew half the team or more before the day of that draft. Or am I misremembering?
Yeah. Once the final picks are in and Seattle informs the players leaks will happen. Also LV flew in quite a few of their picks in for the reveal.

Kerfoot would be a good pick. I think he has more offense to give with a role higher up the line-up.
He is one of the few middle 6 centers available who could work out as a 2nd line C if he gets the opportunity. Gourde seems like the logical bet to be 1st line C.

Seattle could also very well pick Beniers and throw him in the deep end at middle 6 centre.

Kerfoot is almost 2 years older than McCann and is UFA in 2 years, surprised they wouldn't be going with McCann. I remember questioning a lot of Vegas' picks too, so what do I know.
Or they film multiple versions. They are having a variety of celebrities annouce the picks and it would be hard to have it done ont he day of the draft.
