No I never did something that damaging or abusive to someone.
I can say that with certainty.
That is definitely a good thing! There are a lot of people who can say that too.
But I would guess that a lot of people, if they were truly honest with themselves, could find something in their lives that could compare.
I know I can. It wasn't similar in any way. And had nothing to do with sex. But it was something that I did, got caught, paid the price and made my apologies and stayed in the community and rebuilt my reputation afterwards.
I am still in the same community. And I credit many many people in this community for willing to give a young person who made a mistake, a second chance.

No one is saying he doesn't get a second chance. Let's say he isn't drafted - that just means his road to the NHL is tougher. He probably can find a place to continue his career in pro hockey (e.g. the KHL) and if he's good enough he probably would get another opportunity.
Second chances sometimes are harder roads but still chances.
The clearest path to the NHL is to be drafted. Maybe he doesn't get that path

I am not going to belabor the point. And we can end it here, but YOU specifically said "no second chances", which is what I was responding to the topic.

Well, I keep coming across all this Chaz Lucius stuff and I think I'm now CPs president of the Chaz Lucius booster club. Bring this kid to CGY please!!
TSN: After grueling rehab, Lucius feels he's the best goal scorer in the draft.

I did probably with some emotion attached.
The reality is that no one can fully ban him from hockey (not easily) so there will be second chance routes available to him.

We need to start changing hockey culture. That means when this stuff happens there should be severe consequences. No 2nd chances.
Um....

Straight up, no way around it. This is the guy. Leader, Team player, elite goal scoring. Models his game after Scheiffle and Stamkos.
"The Tom Brady of 17-year-olds" - dammit, now I'm all in for Chaz too!

Bob's list is out.
Remember this isn't his ranking nor is this a mock. This is his aggregated view of what he's hearing from scouts.
A couple of observations
- It seems like the chances of a dropper are slim. Bob sees a fairly firm concentration of top 9 if not top 10
- The guys in the Flames range are the ones we've speculated on: Lucius, Sillinger, Wallstedt, Coronato, Lysell.
Lucius seems like a pretty safe pick. There's hesitations with this skating, durability, and size (he looks like a kid, but apparently he's fine in terms of size), but he can produce, and does it pretty consistently. It sounds like he has improved his two-way game.
I probably still prefer Sillinger, just because he doesn't have the question marks for durability and weight. But I think Lucius might have higher offensive upside.
Cossa says he 's now 6'7, hopes that he's done growing taller, and thinks he's the best goalie in the draft.
Id be happy with Cosa but he wouldn't be one of my top 4 choices. Wallstedt would be amazing and I figured McTavish was a pipe dream. Everyone has Sillinger around the Flames pick, would be ok with that.

I don't see Philadelphia or Dallas as having the picks to make it work, and definitely aren't doing anything with Winnipeg or Edmonton, so that leaves Nashville.
To Nashville: Pick 13 (really pick 12), pick 77 and pick 84
To Calgary: Pick 19 (really pick 18), pick 40, and pick 51
Flames then pick 19th, 40th, 45th, and 51st.
