Well, the list grows...
Add Burger King. I havent eaten there in a long time, but today I had to quickly stop while driving by.
Gross. The burger was (I think) microwaved which made the bun all soggy. Yuck. When did BK start microwaving things? Didnt the flame broil used to be their claim to fame?
I wont be going back.

When my sister worked there circa 1985 they used to nuke their burgers. Things like a Whopper would get ~10 seconds just to make it that much hotter. Could be the guy hit the wrong button.
But I agree. I seem to go there every 6 months to remind myself of why I don't go there.

Not that I've given this place much business, but I checked the soundsaround website today. what a POS. I know I won't be findiing anything on it I may want, and then online buy, or go and pick it up, because they don't have anything listed.

Here's one of my friend's experience over the weekend.
Place: First Choice Haircuts
He went in and requested a number 2 cut. The hairstylist didn't use a clip and cut a huge clomp of hair out. She then proceeded to pretend everything was ok, until my friend said something. No apologies, no refund, not even a coupon for a free cut. Instead, they spend the entire time arguing with him, saying he had requested that kind of cut.

About the incident at Red Robin, this was at least a year ago, so I won't go back now.

What's a number 2 cut? Is it like an item on a menu as in "I'll have the number 2 but could you leave me a little extra on the sides" or is #2 a setting on some clippers.

You can count me as one of the addicted. I'll be driving home at 11:30 at night and if I pass by a Timmy's I'll find myself pulling into the drive-through for a double double. WDF do I need a coffee for at 11:30 at night?
At least I've broken the McDs addiction now, but Timmy's has got me around the neck and won't let go.

#2 is 1/4 inch. I always go for #4 which is half inch. #8 is an inch.
he should buy his own clippers if he's just going to go in and get a #2.
Unless ordering a number 2 is something off of the haricut menu there, then I don't know.

That's why I go to a barber. Men should cut guy's hair, and gay men should cut girl's hair. That's the circle of life.

As a former BK employee, I can tell you that the burgers are broiled. But they tend to broil more than they need to keep up with the rush. The ones that aren't immediately used are kept in a little oven type thing to keep them warm. When someone orders a burger, they take it out and then nuke the burger to make sure it's still warm. If you want to avoid this whole thing, when you order your burger, ask for it to be fresh off the broiler. Most people don't realize you can do that. You will have to wait a couple extra minutes, but trust me, it's worth it.
