Surprised MIN exposed Kahkonen...nothing else on their list is very juicy so I bet he's picked. Could be a long-term starter or a valuable trade piece.

Killorn, Gourde and Pallat exposed. Damn that is crazy depth
Also interesting they thought McDonagh was more important than two of the exposed forwards

Toronto must be giving up assets to protect McCann, Engvall, Simmonds
Seems weird to me that they'd potentially give up a 1st+ just to protect Holl, I don't think he's that great

Hasn't signed yet iirc so might as well expose him as an UFA right now, I'm guessing. Probably that's why he hasn't signed yet - to free up the slot.

Signing isn't official yet so he's technically a UFA right now
Edmonton might be giving Seattle a pick to protect him as well, which would be hilarious if they had to protect Keith and give up even more assets

Not signed, was only rumoured to be close or discussing. Maybe things fell through and he wanted to see what Seattle would offer.

Speculation was they traded for McCann to ensure they had one of Kerfoot or McCann next season as Seattle can only take one.
