Pressure got to Ohtani.... i think he should have taken his time on the last 3 pitches as he only needed one with 14s or so left in that 1min bonus round.
Fun, but I don't think he would have beat out Alonso though, as he really had a bead on the ball

Mind you the economics of signing all those will ensure it won't happen, but I'd hate to be a pitcher in that organization. Short leash where only the most consistent would be given a chance. Virtual guarantee that if you don't do well there won't be any coddling to develop you. Terrible decision where it's going to be a crab in the bucket scenario with the pitching staff.

Tonight's Red Sox vs Yankees game postponed due to covid "outbreak". Apparently Aaron Judge is one of the positives after spending the last few days at the all-star game.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora saying he's worried about some of his all-stars that attended and are not vaccinated. How the hell is a pro ball player, who travels the country playing in front of fans, not vaccinated by now. That's ####ing stupid.
