Hrudey has talked about that goal. Desjardins went high on the first shot over the net. So when the puck came back out front, Hrudey thought he would go high again. But he went 5-hole.

Lightning will probably be negative favorites to win again next year. NHL is easily the most boring league in North American sports at the moment.

and we have to remember the Kings were built to be contenders and they just woefully underperformed before making a coaching change. From the moment that coaching change was made, they were dominant - and continued to be so for years, so I don’t even think the Kings fit the bill.
