Most likely - he's such a narcissist, he truly believes he has done nothing wrong, I'm sure he will act like nothing is out of the ordinary about his situation.

As someone who has made irregular visits to various correctional facilities in Canada, I highly suspect that what you imagine as "baked meatballs and rice" is very different than actual prison baked meatballs and rice. Mr. Crosby will not be impressed.

Is it made from scratch or all cooked from frozen stuff? I assume they have to at least maintain a certain level of quality nutrition, lack of preservatives, etc?

An agreement to not be charged? What?

So like....A get out of jail free card?

So, here’s why Cosby is free.

He was sued by Andrea Constand for sexual assault. During that lawsuit, he was promised by the Pennsylvania DA that, if he gave testimony, he would not be charged. He then gave this testimony.

Years later, that testimony was unsealed and a new Pennsylvania DA used it as the centerpiece of the charges & trial against Cosby.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that the second DA was bound by the promise made by the first, and could not have brought charges.

The conviction is overturned and future prosecution is barred. Cosby will be free for the rest of his life.

Which is, frankly, correct. The DA can't make an agreement and then have another DA ignore it and act like it never happened. The mistake isn't letting him go. The mistake was agreeing to the original deal.

Is there not enough evidence and victims to charge him for different crimes? In a different jurisdiction?

I find it hard to comprehend that one promise from one DA regarding one alleged crime would make him free from prosecution for all other crimes that he committed over the course of like 50 years across the US.

I don't know... I would guess that it depends to some extent on whether the other charges were the fruit of that original investigation to which the deal was tied.

But the Pennsylvania Supreme Court said that District Attorney Kevin Steele, who made the decision to arrest Cosby, was obligated to stand by his predecessor’s promise not to charge Cosby. There was no evidence that promise was ever put in writing.
So the previous DA made a verbal deal with Cosby and that supersedes everything else? I am all for innocent until proven guiltily and accept the reality that this approach results in guilty people going free to ensure the innocent also go free, but this seems a step too far.
