John Ahlers and Joe Micheletti are the commentators on national radio.

That's a thing I'd like to see fixed in the offseason - the "headlock facewash that rips the helmet off". Happens a lot lately and it's dangerous for precisely this reason - scrum continues and guys end up falling to the ice. Should be a penalty on the guy who does it every time, no offsetting minors.

Tampa is a sneaky dirty team. Cheap shot artists.

You ever see Mike Smith shake his mask off?

This’ll just lead to guys with loose chin straps

Also Monahan.

But the rule of skating off the ice w/o helmet helps nip that.

Can't pin the loss on Price but he's been pretty average. He has to be in god mode for the Habs to have a chance.

I think so, yeah. If you can shake your helmet off then it'll also come off pretty quick if you get hit.

What I'm talking about is those plays where a guy's helmet literally gets ripped off due to a headlock from behind. It's coming off regardless of how loose the strap is when someone does that.

Yep, but one goal for ain’t going to cut it, either.

The first 3 were turnovers, wicked redirect by Cernak and unrepeatable puck bounces. No issue with those in my eyes. That’s nothing to do with a guy being ‘average’

He had at least a couple huge Price monster saves in there

Kucherov shot was a clean goal and was a wicked shot, well placed, from the hash marks with time and space.

TB deserved the win, a couple of nice goals, a few luckier ones. Only Habs goal was lucky bounces too

Only one team can win each game. Looking forward to the next one

Interesting games, Habs looked totally over matched...

They need to play quicker in game #2

Agree. They looked a step behind a few times

PP with especially slow puck movement, wasn’t even positive for momentum

This is when we say "nice Cinderella run, but it's over now," right?

Let’s see how game 2 goes. If they get manhandled again, I’m guessing it’s pretty much over. Let’s see how they respond.

As good as Vegas is when they are on they don't have the firepower to play like #### and still pound you. Tampa can play it anyway you want...Habs winning 4 of 6 seems even more unlikely than last round IMO.

Habs looked a little nervous and tentative - not playing their game. Stopped their excellent stick work and although they threw a lot of hits they were more careless with the puck than usual. Nerves, I'd guess. Game 2 will see if they got rid of the nerves and come back as the team we've seen so far.
