France are scoring five Puskas winners and the Swiss aren't even hitting the target. It is written.

Such a clutch performance by the Swiss. They had looked absolutely solid after their 1-0 lead. Ended up missing on the penalty and falling behind 3-1. Held on, tied it up and knocked out the favourites.

So the top half of the draw, Italy, Spain and Suisse went to extra time and the Belgians got kicked around. Will make for an interesting Friday.

When I saw it was 5-4 with Mbappe coming up to shoot I thought in my head "He's going to miss"

Soccer has a funny way of humbling elite players in big moments on PKs.

Van Basten in 92'
Baggio in 94'
Beckham in 2004
Lampard & Gerrard in 2006
Messi in 2016 Gold Cup
Eriksen in 2018

Yep same, was actually wondering if Deschamps would be willing to pick someone than Mbappe who hasn’t had the finish this tournament.
