Now we can have a week of Southgate being reminded of his penalty miss!

Prefer that, vs him telling us how much better all the other teams are, than his.

Wasn’t able to watch the second half, I’ll catch the recording tonight.
I was incredibly impressed by Hungary this tournament. They likely finish second or potentially win a group if they had been in any other group.

stupid Germany. Instead of crashing out, they'll now magically improve and whoop Englands asses, as always. Jerks.

Nerve wrecking game, but good to see Germany in the knockout stage. Let’s go Germany!

So it would be France vs Switzerland and Germany vs England right?

He punched the ball. His arm clearly bends after making contact with his head. Not a flying elbow as you so hysterically claim.

Belgium with a brutal path to the final with a likely Portugal/Italy/France route.

Expecting 3 at the back with 2 dms

Followed by the media pushing the narrative that kane didnt do enough as england literally never touch the ball in the opposition half

Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and France all on the same side of the bracket does seem a bit crazy (Croatia too)

Guess that's why people say Euro might be a harder tournament to win than the World Cup.

I actually like England's chances against Germany, the only time Germany looked good was when Semedo was getting ripped apart by Gosens and Kimmich. Otherwise Germany not so great creating down the middle so choke off the wings and just hope you can find some goals now.

It could be england vs a team of germany u17s and the germans should be favored

We used up all our goals forever against them in the 02 world cup quallies

Germany also seem to struggle against teams with a defensive setup. Considering how destructive England even set up in the group stage, I imagine Southgate will indeed play a back three plus Rice/Phillips. Probably won't be a pretty game.

I'm hoping Low learns from giving his Legacy picks starting spots.

Play the younger group, they got it done when it was all on the line.

Results right? It's been awful on the eye, but three clean sheets so far and very little threat from the opposition in general, it's a good formula to winning, if not entertaining.

Rice/phillips/Henderson wouldnt shock me at all in front of a back 3 and just kane/sterling up top

It shouldn't happen, but I would not be shocked
