I guess it depends if you saw it in the theatre or on DVD.
Studios often lament the fact they have to remarket a movie when it’s about to hit home entertainment platforms, costing them millions in extra advertising dollars.
But in “Edge of Tomorrow’s” case, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment appears to be embracing the chance for a redo and is touting the film’s “Live Die Repeat” slogan over the film’s actual title.

Can't believe that they rebranded it and didn't go with All Your Need is Kill. But yeah, underrated movie. I think they slightly missed on the ending, but really smart and well-executed movie regardless.
Regarding the ending:

If they had switched roles at the end and Rita made the final kill and then looped back to before the battle (rather than Cage), it would have been a more impactful ending. Cage would have never had all the experiences that he had that changed him as a person, and Rita would be left wondering if he would ever become the man that she had come to respect, giving us a much greater appreciation for the massive change that his character had over the course of the film. The film has an absolutely fantastic moment in it where we've switched over to her prespective, but don't realize it (when they're on their way to the farmhouse, and we, like her, think that this is the first time we've made it that far, but Cage knows they've been here many times, but never further), and ending the film with her getting looped back would have completed that arc perfectly.

If I was randomly searching for something to watch,
I'd scroll right by Edge of Tomorrow.
"Live Die Repeat" would likely get me to stop and see what the movie is.

The film was initially titled All You Need Is Kill after the light novel, but as filming was ending in July 2013, Warner Bros. changed the title to Edge of Tomorrow; Warner Bros. president Sue Kroll said the title was changed partly due to "negative chatter" about the word "kill" in the title. Doug Liman, who said he rejected the title All You Need Is Kill because it "didn't feel like it was the tone of the movie I had made", wanted to rename the film Live Die Repeat, but Warner decided to use that just as the tagline
Both other options were better than Edge of Tomorrow imo. Live Die Repeat would at least be unique, Edge of Tomorrow just sounds so generic
"All you need is kill" doesn't actually make any sense, in general or in connection with the movie. I feel like "Live Die Repeat" is better but maybe a bit too on the nose. Either way it is a fun flick. And Emily Blunt sure knows how to do a T2 Linda Hamilton impression.

The only strike against the movie IMO is the fact that Emily Blunt can't seem to keep her mouth shut. I don't mean she talks too much...I mean every shot of her just standing there she has her mouth about 3/4" open. Like she doesn't just pull up her bottom jaw to close her mouth. It's super distracting and annoying.
I don't have much to add other than Live. Die. Repeat. seems like the antithesis to Eat. Pray. Love. Some hipster theater should do a stupid title double-header.

Speaking of Blunt. Went and saw A Quiet Place II on Sunday. Pretty good follow up to the first one and I jumped out of my seat more than once. Enjoyed thoroughly.
but to honest - that or any movie that I would have gone to that day would have rocked, in my mind. I was just so happy to see a movie on the large screen again. Felt so great.
